Who to replace Woy??

If he has to be English, then Eddie Howe would be a good bet, no international experience but young with plenty of fresh ideas.

I don't follow any football and I didn't watch any of the games , but I can't escape the pre tournament interviews and am I the only person in England who wonders why , when the manager is asked how far he expects to get in the tournament , why doesn't he reply , " I expect to win the fucking thing , if I didn't there's no point in turning up and wasting everyone's time and money "
The team is never going to win anything as long as they are getting told if they get to quarter , semi finals it's good enough .

who cares....our overpaid pansies will never win a thing..no heart, no passion, no team ethic and no bollocks..feel for the fans who spent their hard earned following them over to witness another shambolic display

Like Alan Shearer said last night " we are just not good enough! " The best players in the league are the foreigners and the native lads just make up the numbers hence our England team is second rate sh*te!

Please not Southgate or Neville
Couldn't agree more!

Me too...

Would be nice to give a younger manager a chance, like Eddie Howe.. But the England players lack the desire and fight shown by the likes of the Italians, or even the Icelanders !

I'm not into Foriegn managers for national Teams - its just wrong !

I was listening to TalkSport this morning (well, more laughing at it really !) and Redknapp was on and excluded himself, but hoped Glen Hoddle would have another go now he's older and wiser. Apparently England had a good record under Hoddle, but his undoing was Mystic Meg. Now Psychology is common place !

Id go with Billy Smart :headbang:

For the younger members who have no idea who he was ask your mum or dad what he did for a living.

Really? Sam Allerdyce has a win ratio of only 39%. So actually, yeah perfectly qualified for the England job.... :poke:

But he manages to extract that from s**t players. Let's see what he can do with supposedly International quality players.

International Quality Players (prn: /'ɪntəˈnaʃ(ə)n(ə)l ˈkwɒlɪti ˈpleɪə/)

noun 1. Extinct species of footballer in England; previously seen wearing expensive trainers, driving Bentley Continental GTs or Wayne Rovers.

Look what Eddie Jones has done for English rugby, no reason he couldn't do the same for football, it's all about fitness levels, mindset and team bonding etc so he says.
Shame he's an Aussie.

Not a fan of Big Sam, West Ham supporters were glad to see him go, I think his style of play did it for him.
He must have some motivational skills as he's managed to avoid relegation a few times.
Basic problem lies with the Premier League where there are only 3 (I think) English managers and they very rarely get to play other inrternational teams apart from off season friendlies.
I think the FA may look to another foreign manager next time.
Daren't start on the other major issue of too many foreign players.
Not so keen on the game as I used to be.
