Who manufactures OEM BMW air filters?

Hi Russ,

I've seen that a lot also..I was a car mechanic for 11 years, VW nearly always use Mann also, at least it was back in the 80's.

Now I work on Aircraft and the same thing happens there but not as frequent, I've seen Embraer 145 aircraft (made in Brazil) with a Volkswagon beetle(see the connection) pull handle in the cockpit, and a Hella reversing light (on old minis etc.) installed in a BAe146 aircraft Cockpit , hate to think how much more expensive they were once they were certified for use on an Aircraft Ha !

Hi guys,

I've managed to find the answer to my original question;

The OEM for BMW air filters are MANN FILTERS.

So there you have it.. if you want to save a few quid on an OEM BMW air filter, order a MANN branded filter.. it'll be identical other than the BMW logo and part number.

Hope that helped someone

Russ
