Which Z4 please :-)?

Hi lads and lasses :-)

Just wondered which was the better buy out of these two?
I can see that the 2006 Z4 has the higher bhp, what else is better on it compared?
But the 2005 Z4 has the Sat Nav etc...
Im not sure which to go for :-)

The newer one. It has a better engine, M-sports seats, nicer interior overall, MF M-sports steering wheel, Newer lights (front and rear) and newer front bumper It also appears to be an approved used car (AUC), which means it has a 12 month manufacturer warranty

The 05 isn't worth £13K even with nav.

Facelift car will be worth more money in the long run.
 
The 06 one has been advertised at that price for a fair few weeks now. Was tempted to go see it a few weeks ago, but decided a few things weren't quite right.

As for price - I don't know much about what they have sold for historically, but have been scouring auto trader, AUC etc regularly the past couple of months, and compared to what else is around, would say the price on the 06 is fair to good depending on the state of the car, and how closely it matches what you want. Clearly the guy above reckons there might be room to get it down a bit though - won't hurt to try.

The 05 one was another one that I had half an eye on. Always felt it was very overpriced. There seems to be a bit of a price step going from pre facelift (05) to post facelift (06) - which makes sense, as its different/newer styling and a better engine in the 06.
 
13.5k for an 06 with that interior and low miles. God these are getting cheap now, mine must be worth about £2.50 now :(

It Looks a very reasonable price to me. Parkers trade valuation is 15+k, minus say 1k for being the wrong time of year for a roadster.
 
Get the newer one, SatNav can be fitted for around £500-£600.

£13.5k is cheap, I was offered £1k more for mine in part ex a few months ago. (Winter doesn't help though)
 
Agree me thinks the newer one, better engine and more power, if you look for a 06, 2.5si @ 218 Bhp, will be slightly cheaper with only a slight drop in power over the 05, 3.0L
