107s - but I've got bored of the MV2s as the e61 has got them too - and they are more dished on the 5 which makes the flatter zed versions look like a poor relation.

Ps to earlier poster Mv1s do fit

blimey!! they do look nice. i've got a set off an old E46 if anyone wants them.

as someone else mentioned. i replaced them with replica MV2s, which i thought didn't suit the car at all. sold the car before i got a chance to put the MV1s back on.

Personally i think that MV2s just don't suit silver cars whatever the model.

Thanks for the replies so far, looks like MV2s have it by a mile!

I would like to try CSL's but I dont want to pay for 19" tyres and I'm struggling to find a cheap second hand set of 18"s locally.

You could try BM Autosport. They do very nice CSL reps in 18's at a pretty good price.

I reckon the anthracite 18" you had on your old car would suit phoenix yellow.

My concern with buying new wheels is if I don't like them (as much as MV2s) then it could start getting expensive. If I 100% knew I liked them then I don't mind paying the going rate.

I have this exact same dilemma but for a roadster, think the mv2s still win though...

I'm not sure who likes the 107s. I'm keeping my eye out for new 18s and weighing my options, but whoever included the ellipsoids as standard equipment must've had some 'splaining to do.

I really like the 107s. I've got MV2s on my 3er and they are lovely, but a real pig to keep clean and they're so ... common these days!
Though maybe that's just because I see mine every day :D

I don't like MV2's on roadsters but they look fine on Coupes, and ellipsoids like fine on roadsters and not on Coupes.

MV2s are a nice wheel that look classy on all BMWs IMO, but they are very common

For what it's worth on a coupe I think there are no finer wheels than 108s - they look simply stunning. Everytime I see a coupe on 108s I have to look back repeatedly/stop and stare. . , drives the missus mad - "there just wheels" - she doesn't understand.
