Which Tyre Sealant?

Looking to ditch the RFTs for a set of Vredestein Ultrac Vortis and was wondering if any of you guys have any real life experience and can recommend any particular sealant/plugs and whether tyre can be reused after using the stuff?

I have the slime kit, pump & sealant system in the boot. As far as I know the tyre can be re-used as long as the side wall is ok. Don't think the repairers like cleaning them but can be done no probs

I carry the genuine BMW mobility kit, (probably the same as Kermit1970) It's the only real solution that provides the ability to use air or air and pump, is full reusable if the tyre is filled and has a pretty decent compressor.

Buy off ebay

Some carry cans of goo and a separate pump which is cheaper, but can only be used individually.

I use Ultraseal on my motorbike. Some people swear by it, others reckon it's snake oil. However with only 2 wheels and a very small contact patch, I thought it was worth a try.

I've had it in my bike tyres for a number of years, and on a couple of tyre changes, the tyre fitter has pointed out instances where there has been a puncture that the sealant has sorted for me.

I can't claim it will work for everyone, and it doesn't come with a compressor, you simply put it in the tyre and forget about it, till the tyre change. Oh and the tyre fitters I've come across didn't seem to mind dealing with it, providing that you tell them it's in there before they get covered in muck :-)

I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has tried it in their Z4, as I'd be tempted to change from RFT on next tyre change, and would want some 'protection'

Cheers

I've used similar in my Jeep tyres and it's worked well to a degree. Once it settles it needed a good run to get it spread around again and used to vibrate like mad until done, however it certainly sealed a few punctures from nails. All on 37" tyres so a bit bigger (and slower) than Zeds.
