So, these bloody CO2 outputs has restricted my Mum's Company Car selection again.
Maximum of 159 g/km :headbang:

My mar has given me a list and asked for my oppinions:

Merc C180 EDS Blue Efficiency Exec SE
I said: Slow, No Equipment and apart from looking good has nothing going for it.

318i M Sport Business Edition
I said: Slow, Slow, Slow and absolutely no equipment.

320i Business Edition
I said: No Spec and Slow

520d SE
I said: New 5 Series is really nice and has loads of items as standard now. This would be my choice if it was not for the next car..

Audi A4 2.0 TFSI
I said: (note: she has had 5x of these already in sucsession) get the S-Line model again and it is the best car on the list!

So, what do you guys think? Am I correct with my answers...
I have also asked her to see if she can get a BMW 330d or an Audi A5 2.0 TFSI... both are below the 159 g/km limit

Im actually hearing the new A4 is VERY poor to drive - given the from the ground up redesign I would actually go with the 5...

Are you sure the 520d is a new shape? Didn't think the smaller engines were out yet. Most of the lease deals are for end of line old shape, hence cheap.

Had a 318d M Sport on the fleet a few years back and while no M3 performance was acceptable enough. Ride quite firm though. Obviously a 330d is a fine car but its £35,000 as apposed to the 318d at £28,000, and I would assume they have a budget / engine size cap for employee levels. Based on the shortlist I'd take the 3 or the A4.

MINI Cooper S (Clubman if you want bigger!). 137g/km and could out handle a Z4!

On that list, the 5 Series. :)

I too was not sure if the New 5 has a 2.0d engine yet..? The web page is not too clear.
The 330d would be a good choice, but as said - possibly a bit expensive. I don't think my mum would go for a Scoda! or a MINI..
Probably looking at the A4 or the new 5 if avaliable.

I thought we would be in for something special this year but the company have reduced all the levels and put a cap on the CO2 - even for Directors.
The A4 2.0 TFSI S-Line "Special Edition" that I chose for her last time has been great, just a little bumpy on the suspension.

Cheers for the comments.... I will get her to go test driving and try to talk the Boss in to an A5.... Shame I'm away for a few months or I would help out with the testing!
