Which mid range non run flats

Gaaaah! I'm an idiot - and you guys are totally correct!

I was getting my tyres mixed up - those sizes I referred to are for the 19's on my 320d in the UK. Was over there recently and did some bits n pieces of maintenance on it while I was there. Was thinking about sticking some winter wheels on it and took some pics to refer to when ordering. However I hardly use it as I'm based mostly in Holland these days, so didn't bother.

What would I do without this forum and its' clued-up members! lol.
Need to go and check what's actually on the 108's now but I suspect it's as what you guys have suggested...

I know theyre shocking arent they! but the car came with them like that, honest! Was a good bargaining point for me during the buy. :wink:
I'll get round to a refurb at some point...

Theres a few sets just come up for sale on E90post forum. some with tyres & some just powdercoated

ok thx for that.
I'll probably just get them refurbed tho. the kerbing isn't that severe fortunately, so grinding out and polishing/re-laquering should still be possible. had it done a few times on other wheels now so no biggie.
The original nasty runflats will be coming off eventually in preparation for its' next MOT in the new year. Will be refurbing then as well as throwing on a new set of vred's. woot!

Hi, I'm looking to replacing all four run flats for mid range tyres due to lack of finances. I'm looking at Avon or the likes. Does anyone have any views on these tyres or any other makes?
I'm getting nrf as the tramling is awful on the country roads and most owners recommend binning the run flats for better steering and quietness.
I have the edition sport that has 18" wheels and firm suspension.
Any advice would be welcome

Fit Avon ZZ5s....you will not regret it ! We have 3 BMWs in my family including my Zed and all are shod with Avon tyres. I have been running ZZ5s on my Zed for more than 18 months now and also on my 2 previous BMWs. Superb performance in all conditions, hard wearing, British made and sensibly priced. A staggered 18" set from Oponeo.co.uk will cost you £302 inc. delivery

Another for Avons. Put them on my daughters car first. Very pleased with them so put them on the Z.

I have the Kumhos and i honestly cant say enougth good things about them.
They are grippy wet and dry, They are even lasting well. The fronts are the rears not so much but thats not really there fault.
They could be noisy? But my cars a bit to loud to worry about tyre noise.
