Which car magazines do you read regularly?

Thanks for the replies. I'm now totally hooked on the EVO mag for iPad.

Great articles and photography, and all presented in a very slick app.

Have been a subscriber to EVO for many years now. But I find I'm not enjoying it as much any more - I used to just sit & read it hoovering up every word as soon as it arrived, but lately I'm finding that I've not finished one before the next arrives.
It's beginning to look to me as if product-placement has arrived in that mag - the tyre test hosted by Conti with the surprise winner being... Conti!
All the companies that assist hem are now getting prominent mentions, usually accompanied by half-page adverts and also Harry's now "bigging-up" the value of his fleet.

Not sure about iPhone compatibility, but I started by downloading the free sample edition. It might be worth a shot you doing the same. I will say it will never be as impressive on the phone simply due to the different screen size when compared with the iPad. Although your eyes might be better than mine ;-)

Motorsport.


Used to get Autosport, Evo, Autocar, Car, over the years but gave up on them all as the quality of writing too a nose dive, especially Evo..
 
R&T and AW. Had the others but I realized I didn't often read them and when I did, I thought there was too much fluff and too little real hands on reporting.

+1 UK version delivered in France. Its still a great read and is not scared to take viewers comments on board. Articles are not on par with the old Evo's that I've kept though. When I buy others such as Car, I do find them, far inferior.
 
Motorcycle racer, classic racer, Irish racer (just gone bump :cry: ), and most recently, past 3 issues of Evo, which i'm enjoying reading, one thing i got to say, i thought i'm up with technology but i just cant think of reading a download as opposed to real paper, just doesn't appeal to me, maybe i'm not as "young" as i think i am :D

Back to my youth...is car and car conversions still going ?

I tend to read the following :

1. Car ( Although its not the mag it was)
2. Octane ( My current favourite)
2. Land Rover Monthly/ Owner International
 
I subscribe to CAR, not tried EVO, sounds like I should give it a go, CAR is getting a bit boring these days.Used to subscribe to BIKE magazine but got fed up of the usual 600/1000 shoot outs every other month.

Don't buy car mags myself although the client I'm working with usually have a stash of recent ones in one of the kitchens that I have a flick through. Evo looks and also like one of the classic car mags - Classic Car?
 
i dont normally buy mags, just use good old google if i want to get some specific info on a car

Although the g/f bought the below for me some months back (didnt have the heart to tell her my car isnt an //M) But its a very good read for a 'one off' and has some excellent detail on the Z4 M coupe and roadster :thumbsup:

EVO mag here. I get the iPad version these days. Actually, buy most of my mags on the iPad now. Saves cluttering up the coffee table!! :P
