Which Bilsteins?

Hi all,

Just a quick one. My 2010 35i is feeling a little tired in the suspension department. On my old E85 I fitted Bilstein~B8's which seemed to do a good job. Just wondered if that is the way with the E89? Currently just a few things done. Sorted the Tesco scratch which some *wat left on the rear quarter. Done gearbox service. Fitted a Wagner intercooler. Serviced new oil, filter, air filter and plugs. Not particularly wanting to lower her but don't mind if it's a small amount. Just wondered what others have used?

Regards

Chris

I've fitted Bilstein B8's along with Eibach Pro springs, and I think it rides and sits perfectly.

Bilstein B8s on either the stock MSport springs or the Supplex equivalent will result in a normal (MSport) ride height…nice comfortable well controlled ride…I used that combo on my 20i MSport :driving:

I also went with B8's matched with Eibach pro springs on my 09 35i which I think lowered the rear by 30mm and front by 20mm, not lowering it too much but does give it a better looking stance.
