Which Bilstein shocks for 3.0si coupe e86?!?!

Hi all,
I am replacing springs with eibach pro's.
As well as a few other Bits, I also want to replace the shocks. Which do I go for, B8's or B6's. have the m-sport suspension.

Please can someone help me out on this one?

Had b6 on mine but MOT failure due to loose springs when jacked up. Solved with a spring spacer pad but that increases ride height

Is that usual? The B8's are even shorter I believe? Be interested to hear opinions on this.

Because the shock is shorter the spring Will not sit loose. The B6 is too long for the (shorter) Eibach spring

B8's are matched, is a B12 not cheaper? (B8 + springs in a kit)

Yup it looks like it but I already have the eibach springs as had a load of amazon vouchers to use up.

Demontweeks seem to have them but cannot for the life of me find the right ones for my car. Unless they are universal (b8). Hopefully that's not a stupid assumption - not mechanically minded sorry.

as far as i know they're not specific. the springs are (because of weight difference)

Of course they are specific, a stiffer spring or a heavier car needs stronger damping so they are all tuned to suit.

Just call Demon Tweeks and they will find you the right ones.

You can also use the bilstein catalogue online for their part numbers to cross check. Worth checking your springs too before you order, I found my roadster has coupe springs on it...

Hardly matters as the physical size is the same and the cars are within 10kg or so officially. The coupe has stiffer rears I believe so more aggressive handling.
