Where's the AUX?

Hi,

I'm probably being really stupid. Only has the Z4 a couple of weeks and noticed if I press the "Mode" button it cycles through the inputs (Radio, CD etc). One mode is "AUX", but I cannot find any where to plug an AUX cable. Is this just a part implemented feature, or is the plug hidden somewhere?

It is under the heating controls ... just feel and you will find (panel above the heated seat / roof opener etc)

or if it has been retrofitted it could be anywhere - the retrofit instructions suggest the glovebox...

AUX was only standard fitment from 2007 I think, so before that may have been a retrofit.

I've got a 2004. I'll have another hunt around. I assume I couldn't select "aux" from the mode button if there isn't an Aux input?

you are right - AUX doesn't appear unless the cable is installed, so it will be there somewhere
