Hi guys i have a 2008 3.0si coupe, recently while changing the plugs noticed one has been leaking oil into plug hole. This has not affected the running at all but i would like to fixit before it does
Looking on line theres lots of sellers and gaskets to choose from,so can someone point me in the right direction of a recommended seller/site please
best regards

I sound like a stuck record but Autodoc and Schiemden and Hubauer are amongst the best..they only stock either BMW or OE quality level versions..trouble with ebay and Amazon is that its mostly Chinese parts and/or bogus copies..

I got my new cam box cover from Autodoc

Hi thanks for reply but just checked and they dont seem to supply the bolt seal rubbers with their sets

Not sure if they do for the later N52 engines but I always buy from x8r

They send all parts needed for the M54 engine

Still worth a look

Think it’s x8r.com

You need to look at realoem and work through that..once you've mastered realoem you can then be an expert shopper!-:)

I think I got my gasket from Carparts4less, it didn't come with the round sealing washers for the cover bolts so I got those from Sophers BMW at Lincoln, phone ordered and they sent them in the post.

Choice of makers Motive and Elring, think I had the Elring for my 2.5 E85
Put your reg no in the Carparts4less site to see whats available for your model.
Just checked for the 3.0l they show only the Elring gasket for yours, no round seals with it.

Got mine, complete, from ECP.

Fitted perfectly and has been fine since. Probably about 3-4 years now.
