Where to find parts UK

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows a good website to be able to find replacement parts for e85 z4

Currently I only use ebay and what I can find for spares on facebook market place but often come into issues like Currently where Im looking for a replacement automatic gear shifter cover in beige with the frame as mine is cracked but am struggling to find some.

Or does anyone know which cars share parts as I am able find plenty of other cars like e46 replacement parts but im unsure which they borrow.

If you find the part you want, it will tell you what car it was fitted to, example:

Our for sale section, ebay, Facebook and gumtree are about the only places worth searching for second hand parts.

LLLparts and dealers for new parts. Always best to double check new part prices as you can be surprised and also shocked

Are you putting Wanted ads on the forum too? Always worth putting up your shopping list if you’re not in a hurry as those of us that sometimes break cars like to know we have an outlet for parts in advance.

Our resident Z4 Breakers on the Forum are a good source for parts, post what you need and they will spot your post.
For engine parts, sensors and brake parts I always take a look at Carparts4less the Web side of Europarts who usually come out cheaper than the Europarts site, order on line and you can pick up at your local Europarts branch or have home delivery. Also look on LLLparts and of course Autodoc. You can search by oem part numbers on the Autodoc site which usually brings back a vast range of parts Brands to choose from. If your shopping for sensors I always go for oem replacements like Bosch or Siemens but have had good results using Hass products. Opie Oils are a good source for engine, gearbox and Diff fluids, they also give you a Forum discount.

I use Autodoc but if Opie oils stock what I need I will use them because delivery is quicker and they're also very helpful with advice.
I also had a good experience recently using Simplycarparts (UK based). They've got a website and a shop on ebay, and I found them to be really helpful as well.

I agree with others to check out your local BMW dealership.
I recently was buying all the pieces to rebuild the suspension on my E86 coupe and many of the parts were cheaper through the dealership and not eBay etc.
