I need to get the front plastic under tray (part number 6) for my e85. Would I have to go through BMW to get this?

I have put requests out to the breakers. It's a bit of a lottery with them though.

If I was looking for one I'd be tempted to stomach the price and go to the dealers. I'd rather pay a bit more and know I had a nice new one under there than get one that's most likely going to be scraped.
When I have looked at parts from scrap yards they have often been fairly pricey anyway - not that I have looked into the under tray

Some bits aren't too painful - I needed a wheel arch liner for my E46 last year and it was only £40 and at my local dealer for collection in 2 days. At that price it didn't seem worth messing about with breakers, that might be miles away anyway!

Just done my front bushes today and don't want to refit the old one which is falling to bits and held together with zip ties. Will call BMW tomorrow.
