Where to buy Z4 parts UK???

Hi guys,

Just wondering where people get their spare parts for their Z4s from? do people mainly go straight to bmw or are there other alternatives that i should be aware of?

At the moment need to replace the rear centre console latch, i found the part number on this post
http://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=30790&sid=b4cf31021869ab24e6bdc239ebe44077
Part number: 51467031364

But i couldn't find any Uk based websites that stock this item?

Any help would be very handy!
Thanks

Sopers of Lincoln are a favorite
Talk to Parts and mention the forum ( used to be Joe but he has moved on and another guy handles mail order )

Jamie is the contact on parts at Sopers, Lincoln 01522 681680. Other guys there will also give the discount if you mention the forum.

I used him fr my cruise control... from Kent.

+2 recommendation

I'm also based in Kent,
Sounds like this is the go to place!

Does anyone have any experience with parts such as these Part Number: 51419159633
Its for a 'Door bump stop', to stop door rattles....I'm very new to the Z4 and am realising how rattley they are!

So there aren't many of these places around then for parts?

Thanks for your help!

I usually get my parts from my local BMW dealers. I normally get 10% discount for membership of the BMW Car Club. I've built up a good relationship with the guys in the Parts Department, and I think it makes their life a lot easier as I can usually quote the part numbers that I need, so they don't have to look them up.

A useful on-line resource for parts is Coopers BMW's web site, which gives UK prices and does on-line sales - http://www.cooper-bmw-parts.co.uk/

For identifying parts numbers, I tend to use this site - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do

Hmm.. I'm always using several places which sells used BMW parts. And from my experience I could most recommend https://rrr.lt/en/cars-list/bmw

Does anyone know what this part is for exactly? Google shows it as a rubber buffer.
I appreciate the OP is from 2012 but it has made me curious. Cheers.

It's just a little piece of rubber (about 1cm square, and about 5mm high) that can be put anywhere along the door to reduce vibrations.

There are a fair few good breakers you can contact as well (for used parts). Quarry Motors comes to mind!

I seemed to find my local dealer ( Dick Lovett) , every time I give them a part number , they said no stock or availability. Weirdly, I seem to find all parts are in Lithuania :o and shipping was always a few days, which was no real drama and come in BMW boxes and moulded in the parts I ordered.
