Where is the Z4 built?

Spartanburg,Regensburg. They both sound like places in Germany to me,but obviously one of them isn't.
So my E85 was built in the States.
You learn something new every day.
Either way, whatever model you have got they all end up having faults :headbang:

The first generation Z4 (E85/86) was built in Spartanburg, South Carolina (USA). When the second generation Z4 (E89) came to exist in 2009, it was and still is built in Regensburg, Germany.
Spartanburg is 6 1/2 hours down the road from where I live.

My dealer was adamant that the E89 is built in America, right down to explaining the delay in shipping to "its got to come a long way from the states"....

I prefer to believe what I read on here!!!!
