where is the best place to get the BMW aux input adapter?

let me try again:

basically i ran the wire down the passenger side of the center console around where the knee pad is. I pulled out enough wire so that I could run the wire along the side of the console/drivetrain tunnel to around the middle of the passenger seat. then i just pushed the wire up underneath the center console all the way from the knee pad to where i had the jack at the passenger seat.

since the metal on the jack is exposed and might touch the passenger seat rails, i connected my zune wire to the jack and wrapped the connection with electrical tape. you can do whatever you want with the wires from there to hide them.

basically the end result is that the wire comes up from beside/behind the passenger seat and I can just set the zune on the seat or in the space under the ebrake...or something. I havent figured out where is best yet.

also- i didnt remove the vents/deck. the method of removing the lower panel and reaching up behind the deck makes the most sense unless you have big hands.

basically you just need to reach in from the right hand side and angle your hand over to the left where the socket is.
