Where does your passenger belt buckle rest?

Hi all-stupid question i know but does yours rest on the side front of the seat or down the side?-mines just started to make an annoying rattle noise all of a sudden -the only way i can quieten it seems to be pulling the belt buckle more round the front of the seat(i have one of them pads on the belt if that makes a difference)-thanks

No pad on mine. But after driving a bit. It tends to drift till it comes to rest on the side of the seat. Makes a rather annoying rattle when it does that. To stop it I just plug it into the anchor.

Cheers

Sports seats - My passenger belt always remains on the side of the bolster, ie on the seating side and away from the door pillar. Silent and secure there.

Mine drops beside the seat and used to rattle like yours. I added very small a Velcro strip, stuck one side to the belt clip and the other to the plastic where the clips comes to rest. Now, when the clip falls behind the side of the seat it sticks to the Velcro and doesn't rattle!

johnbmwboy - that's a great idea. The rattle annoys the hell outa me. I have to keep leaning over and moving back onto the seat every drive.

Think I might stop at the shop and pick some up today 8)

That's what I did too when I had non-sport seats.

Fitting sports seats is another (admittedly more expensive but soooooo worth it) solution, as the buckle stays on the edge of the seat bolster

Mine drops beside the seat and rattles like yours. Drives me nuts.

My fix: stick the metal prong of the seat belt into the guide/runner at the top of the seat --- works beautifully --- really neat and shmick:
