Love the Christmas present you got , nice to see a few others on here have taken the plunge to the different grills also. Fitted mine in July and am still amazed at how much it transformed the car .

Thanks Dave, I think it very much depends on the colour of the car, I like the silver on yours, you have other silcer accents, wheels - headlights etc match nicely.
Easy enough to spray with a small model makers enamel aerosol if you want to change the colour without removing them....

Yes i realise the g29 has them, but do you think it looks less like a traditional bmw as a result? The kidney grills have been around a long time with vertical bars :?

As far as I can tell:
If they are easy to swap, you can rotate them. Both looks are great.
Can you say where you got them (if Kat told you) so I can look at possible E85 replacements?

I think I might be in the minority but I would say the originals look better. Each to their own I guess!

I would say they do. I realise the new cars have them but I really don't know what BMW were thinking when they did it because I don't think they look great on the new cars either.
