I have been offered a free refurbished set of e46 M3 wheels Standard factory oem 18" wheels.
Width 18x8" Front 18x9" Rear ( offset ET47 and ET26)
Front tyre 225/45/18
Rear tyre 255/40/18

My question is will these fit on a 53 plate 3L before I go and pick them up as it's a 300 mile round trip if so is there any issues and has anyone got any photos if they do have them fitted

Most people will say the rears will be to aggressive for a non-M car. Saying that I am running a ET27 19" 9.5J rear wheel with a 255/35/19 tyre and have no issues at all. My car is a face life though so not sure if the axle is different.

If they're free you would be silly not to get them and try them.
 
Personally I love the look of the e46 m3 19" wheels, but I've always been led to believe that they won't fit the none M E85?

Answer is yes but not without some work , , here's a pic of Mat's (MM ) E85 3.0 ON 19s but he did machine off some part of the rear wheel hub :cry:
