hi all, I know I'm beating a dead horse with this thread, but I'm knew to the "z" thing. I' ve searched countless threads and got this much info so far; 19" csl reps will fit standard z4 3.0 if utilizing e46 setup ET35/ET45. Is this correct? If so, does anyone have any photos of how the rear wheels look from behind(eg. do they stick out or tuck in). I'm looking to buy a set of miro's rep csl's and would hate if they stuck out or even looked odd (you know what I mean). how about handling any better? Many posts also speak against 19's because they're much easier to damage on potholes; is this really true? As bad as U.S roads are, I'm not driving it where only jeeps and landrovers can go.. Is there anyone out there that regrets getting the 19's and wish they had stuck with 18's instead? and why? Sorry for the long post and thanks again

I stuck with 18s for the purpose of maintaining some ride comfort. With 19s you lose ride comfort, the tires are more expensive, and yes you do have the increased chance of bending a wheel on a bad pothole.
2 things - I'd buy Velocity Motoring replicas instead of Miros. They should be priced the same and the VMs have a great reputation for standing up to abuse, the Miros not so much. VM sells them in a variety of 18 and 19 sizes, with 4 different finishes available. You can't get much better selection than that.
Next, here's what it looks like if you get the WRONG offset (+22 here):
it was a bit much for my taste, and it rubbed on big bumps. These would be perfect for an M but not a standard.
Get anything 9.5" wide and above +33 in the rears and you won't rub. I went to +45 to tuck them in a little more. No pics of that right now unfortunatly.

Yes, and I'd stick with +45. In fact, stick with +40-50 for both front and rears. Its the same for both 18s and 19s.

Those pics are taken with my "too wide" +22 rears. I later swapped the rears for +45 offset ones that sit further inside the fenders and look a bit more standard.
