Going to replace my wheels and tires on my 06 z4
too many curb marks on the rims and hate the run flats
Any suggestions about the optimal tire and wheel size combo would be appreciated thanks Rich
 
Rich - you really should run a search as there are dozens of threads that people have run on their different combos of wheels and tyres.

Another sech on Falkens will get plenty of tyre opinions too.

Start the process by deciding wheel size (17, 18, 19), OEM or aftermarket, then for tyres what's available in the US and your price bracket (performance Vs cost and selected wheel size)
