2 x 108 centre stars - ok for a refurb project

4 x MV1 (style 72) - for refurb, don’t seem to be buckled or cracked at all
Note - 1 x front and 2 x rears are genuine BMW, 1 x front is not marked BMW and appears to have a different offset so maybe a replica.

Not pictured - 3 x 108 barrels which are fit for scrap only; 1 x 108 barrel + star (damaged, unable to separate)

I think pending a refurb, someone could quite easily get a set of good looking MV1s from those.
They are OK, I’ve seen worse in use. Obviously I haven’t spent a great deal of time cleaning them!

MV1s now gone. Someone paid actual money for them on eBay :D
It's 2024. Even people with no sense get given quite a lot of money, just because it doesn't look good them being on the streets.

I know a couple of people who will buy anything off eBay, if it seems cheap. They haven't got any sense, either.

Bought by a refurb outfit, seemingly. I expect they will be appearing on eBay with a shiny new coat in the near future. I’m guessing the scrap value for a set of alloys is around £60 at the moment, so I’m surprised no-one snapped them up for free.

So why didn't you scrap them and get the £60? :?

Ha. Get out of that one! :D

Because I have better things to do with my time and having a stack of unused wheels in the garden is really handy - store garden tools, make an impromptu work bench, work out etc (I made that last one up).
