I bought the z4 fitted with 18" z4m rims, but the previous owner bought 4 front zx4m wheels (8x18, ET 40) as he claims because there is no way to fit rear z4m wheels into non M z4

so I'm stucked with beatiful wheels 225/40/18 on both axles

so my question is - is it really impossible to fit 9x18 et 30 to the back?
shall i try to find 2 back wheels from z4m or just put the maximum width tires on the 8" rim (that would be 245/40 on the rear axle) ?

the reason for changing is that the 225 setup on the rear is quite nervous with disabled dtc :?

This link will help Wheel Offset

Basically the Z4M 9" rear wheels will stick out an extra 23mm over your existing 8" wheels.

You could always go for the normal staggered 8.5 ET50 rear and 8 ET47 front.

It's possible. I changed my alloys last weekend and they fit like a glove:

ok, so I'll wait for your opininion - if there will be no rubing, then I'll try to find 2 rear z4m rims..
You fitted 255/35/18 tires?
THere was no fender roll required?

cheers

The alloys are with the original Z4M tyre size. 225/45-18 front, 255/40-18 back and no rubbing, no fender roll required :).
