Wheeler Dealers - E-type

I caught that whilst out in the garage messing with the Zed.

Ironically I went to school with the bloke who bought it. if I was still in touch with him, I'd like to know if it was a genuine purchase or just staged for the show.

Is this the blue V12 one?

If so, it's quite an old programme and like them all seems to be repeated every couple of months.

I wonder if they will ever do a Z4? I know they did a Z1 a couple of years back.

Let me guess...

Dodgy roof motor - Mike sorts a reconditioned one from his mate in a random farm, then f*cks off while Edd spends all night fitting it
Driver's seat bolster is "looking pretty sad" - Mike visits a deserted business park, once again surprising his upholsterer mate (a "top geezer") who surely must have run his business into the ground by now with all of these favours
Front bushes are shot - Edd is all over it and installs polybushes for a "real sports car feel", using tools that are worth several times the value of the car
Rear springs gone - Mike's got the inside line on this one, because he just googled it and went straight to z4-forum.com. Sorts it with some Eibachs for a "sportier look"

Finally, Mike tells a guy "you've just bought yourself a Z4", which is good, because that's the exact car the guy came to buy when he responded to the advert for a Z4.

You missed the bit about Mike wanting to give it a performance boost to 'make it go the way it looks' and taking it to a bloke in a shed in Norfolk for a bespoke turbo....

Thought he would have taken it to a bloke in a shed in Essex.

Could have got the sseats sorted there too. As long as they wanted Red.

Oh and a red roof for a more individual look.

  I could imagine the Z4 episode then! It'd be just like the S2000 episode.

Wish Mike would watch some other discovery channel TV shows or Car S.O.S on how to do the job properly especially when it comes to paintwork and final touches.

Only after playing jedi mind tricks with the guy by saying 'hold out your hand'..
