Wheel Spacers

Dear all,

Hopefully a quick question. I have 18 ellipsoids on my 3.0 Z4 (2004). I know it has the sport suspension. I am looking at fitting some wheel spacers and was thinking 15mm to the front and 20mm to the rears. Will I get any problems with the fronts rubbing?

Depends on your tire size really as there are several tire width variations that work as standard.
Personally I have the same suspension with 12mm spacers on the front. The fronts don't catch on the wheel arch all tho it looks dead close :D but there is the occasional rub on the inner wheel arch liners on firm bumps at some speed.

I had 20mm on the rear with Eibachs / 108s / Goodyear Eagle F1s and had to take them off due to rubbing. Strangely every other member on here gets away with them?! Planning on trying 15mm on the rear instead.

Are you really tight with the 20mm spacers in the back? The csl reps I'm looking at will put the rear 21.4mm further. The fronts will be 12mm further so that should be fine, could even use a 3mm spacer there. Do you guys have pictures to see the profile of the car with these wheel spacers on?

I'm considering this too, but Sport suspension + spacers seems to expose the arch gap too much. I think you might also need a drop to achieve the look you want.
