Wheel spacers

I don’t seem to have seen any definitive posts anywhere with pictures too that best show spacer sizes for the 326 wheels…
I crudely measured mine from the top of the tyre edge to the arch looking from above and my eye suggests 20mm rear and 15mm front bearing in mind that would bring the tyre to the arch and they are slightly stretched I guess…
The general noises I’m hearing are like 15mm rear 10mm front ish?

While I cannot attest to spacers on this car, keep In mind the road debris and rock kickback. Having your wheel out too much will surely damage your paint without proper splash guards. Though 10/15 does seem right. I like to keep my spacers under 17-20mm

Here's my 'general noise' on the subject of wheel spacers......
Like DON'T!
Exponentially higher loads on suspension, joints, bushes, pivots, etc, etc. They bugger up suspension geometry aswell.
I really do not understand the fascination in the car forum world with widening the track on a car, just for the perceived improved 'look' when they play havoc with lots of other stuff. :?
Also, the 326M wheels sit quite snug in the arches as standard.

There is a few insurance companies that are ok with modifications, but they won't insure a car with wheel spacers. Something is putting them off.

I’ve had spacers on all my fun cars and had no problems with that issue, then again I never tend to keep anything long enough to find out 😂

I’ve had spacers on all my fun cars as just love the improved look of flush wheels to the arches…
Never knowingly have they caused any suspension problems tbf.
It’s literally my fun car and not a daily so looking to do as much as possible that I like tbh…

I’d suggest 5-10 front and 10-15 rear based on my own experience …to much front spacer affects the steering response/.but if your just posing it doesn’t matter

Yeah I’ll get a proper steel ruler and go by eye but on the easy going side of things 😂

Thanks for reassuring me I'm good up to 30mm front and rear ;-)

I've had 10mm Spacers all round since 2019/the past 6 years. I have had ZERO suspension component or geometry issues. I love the look and ZERO issue with stone chips. The last pic is a before and after.

I’m going with some 15mm on rear which I’ll hopefully get fitted next week and see what she looks like from there, the front I think only looks like it’ll need 5mm if any 🤔, kind of hard to tell properly until I get it lowered but that won’t be for a while yet..

That’s a lovely flush fit with 10mm spacers all round. Could I ask what tyres you have on there as the sidewalls look much more square than mine. Brand and sizes please if you don’t mind. Many thanks.

I recently went with 245 45 17 tires square set up with stock wheels which I love, but tried 15mm spacers on the back—a little too much rub going over some bumps so I went with 5mm on rear. The 245 17s on front is as wide as you can go and no spacers. 5mm on rear not much change over stock.

They are just straight up replacement Michelin Pilot Sport 4's. The are day and night over run flats.

Yeah, I suspected Pilot Sports. The look is quite unique. I’ve gone with 10mm on the rear and nothing on the front for now. How much camber you run on the rear has a massive impact on the look too. Prior to alignment check, left side was -2.5 deg camber and looks quite tucked whereas the right side has -1 deg and looks flush. Both are now looking good at -1 which also drives nicely.
