Wheel refurb

Afternoon all,

Well it's needed it for some time now, but finally I've had my wheels refurbished to as new condition :driving:
After not being able to sort anything out with another wheel refurb company in Lincoln I decided to try Soper BMW (Lincoln) as they'd previously said they do that sort of work (actually it goes to a company called Halo Vehicle Cosmetics, who are across the road from Soper). Very happy with the results, they look brand new 8) and yes they were in shocking condition before, but with very little curb damage :D With the addition of a (very cheap) set of copy wheel caps, will try to get some genuine ones at a later date, but they look OK for now.
Next on the agender is the replacement of the front bumper, which was damaged two years ago, so that's well over due as well

Thanks guys, just got to put the new bolts on now as the old ones stand out a bit

Next job, on with the bumper prep ready for the paintshop :driving:

Have done the refurbish as well this week and went from run flats to GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 6 non run flats in the process.
Couple of weeks ago I noticed a vibration in the car.
When inspecting my wheels/tires to find a reason for this suddenly emerging behavior I noticed a bulge on one of my run flats. Went to the shop for tire replacement and then the mechanic showed me damage on the inside of both right side rims (see one of pictures below)….I have never experienced anything that might be an explanation for this damage (I’m not the sole driver of the car though :driving: ).
Anyways, since I really like these rims under my car a refurb was really needed). Couple of hundred euro’s poorer but I like the end result.
