I need help! So my 202's are going into Lepsons on Tuesday for a refurb to get rid of some kerb rash. Since booking I have been umming and arring on what colour to go for.

I was initially going to go for a standard silver refurb, however I also really like the contrast of darker wheels on Sterling grey having seen Ben G's pictures.

I also really like the dark anthracite as seen on Pawnsacrifice's car

I do like the standard silver, but I can't help feeling the darker wheel contrast is a better look. However as I have not seen Zed's with black wheels in the flesh I can't be 100% on if this is the look I'm definitely after...

Also if there are any other owners out there with black or darker wheels it'd be great if you could post some pictures to help me make my decision

What do you guys think? Advice or comments (please feel free to be brutally honest!) welcome :)

I like silver but I think either with your colour I would opt for a dark colour or shadow chrome even which suits it better

I do like darker coloured alloys on silver cars as I think it compliment them very well, however as mine zed is my daily I opted for silver as it was slightly more practical colour in my opinion. That decision was based on the current state of our roads, with the alloys suffering from the odd stone chips and other small marks that automatically appear over time. Less likely to show damage on silver coloured alloys that on dark coloured. If my zed was used as a weekend car only, then it would definitely be dark coloured alloys all the way

I voted "other" because i think shadow chrome would look awesome, bit more interesting than silver but lighter than dark anthracite to keep more visable detail in the wheel.

Just my two penneth

Mine are going into Lepsons on Tuesday too!

I was going to wait and see their sample wheels in reception before deciding.

Here's a couple of older pictures of mine on shadow chrome under different lights, if it gives you something to consider. Probably the best possible colour on a Sterling Grey. Anthracite and black look too heavy unless you have them as part of a coherent theme.

I went with gloss black with a little bit of flake looks nice when the sun catches them

Sorry don't know how to put the link to the pics

I had a semi gloss black with a very light chrome flash looks very nice when clean but look dull after a few days of driving .i supose i should clean them more often.....

Silver of a VERY shiny anthacite. Thing is, silver looks standard and awesome and fresh. Grey can look great but only when clean as a whistle.
