Ok mv2 wheel centre checked mine 68 mm. Can somebody look at the image to establish if they think that these are stickers or caps please. As you can see there is a small seal around the edge of the centre cap, this will need to be removed i presume to replace with another. I dont want to take the wheel of to check this until i carry out the work i want to do when they are removed. Sound lazy i know but time and facilities to do this cause me a problem.

These are the original three part centres.

I bought replacement 3 part centres from the guy Bing recommended. I did struggle to get the first to fit so separated my original and used the new Centre with the original 2 part clips.

If you don't plan on refitting these then do as I did, drill a small 2/3mm hole through the centre of the badge, just thorugh the ali part will do. Screw in a sell tapper and then pull out with pliers.

I tried a suction cup, but mine were to far gone.

If you buy the sticker that I recommended on your other thread, 64.5mm diameter, then that light grey plastic surround remains. Job done.
The choice is yours.

Great that sounds very complicated to me!!
What thread did bing recommend thesae on.

It's easy. The guy I bough them from was [email protected]

The badges alone are £14 or I bought with the inserts at £22. As I didnt use the inserts though as they didn't fit very well, just order the £14 badges and use the existing ones.

I purchased 4x new style centre caps for £30 if that helps.......... Might be an easier choice unless you prefer that style :)

Are you saying that i can remove these and fit the Knock in type? Where did you get yours from?

Yep. Buy 4 new style centre caps...... I can't remember the part number then jack the car up knock the old ones out and press the new ones in.

I had that style on my M and replaced with the newer style (no lip). To prevent corrosion smear grease or some Vaseline around the edge of the badge to prevent water ingress, job done :)
