Wheel alignment

Update on this - I went back to Dury Lane and they spent about 6 hours on the car working to get it right. Wheel swapping made no difference, so they basically spent hours doing trial and error on the adjustment, iterating through test drives and tweaking. I think in the end they ignored what the machine said and just went with what it felt like behind the wheel. Good news is that they eventually got it set up perfectly - no more pulling! They said they had to adjust it basically as far as it could go in one direction to get it to track straight.

To be fair to them, they were very fair on the cost considering the labour effort involved. All in all for both sessions, including using the machine and about 8 hours elapsed time (with two or three of them looking at it second time round) was about £280, which I thought was pretty reasonable.

A bit of an odd one - we'll see how it goes from here.

Duckson - sorry, don't have an after one from this session.

Glad you got it sorted. Seems very odd that they had to ignore the KDS as it is supposed to be "very accurate". It is this reason that i am convinced it is something other than the alignment - bent steering column, loose stabiliser ... who knows!?

Well I'm glad to hear someone has had this sorted. Drury Lane it is then, I would guess they'll spend less time sorting this on other 'M's now they have an idea of what the problem is?
