Whay Else Can a Key Do ?

The two Zed Key Fobs sit in a bowl close to the front door.
They keep the Honda and Chevy Key Fobs company.

I am aware that the BMW key batteries apparently are recharged when they are used in the ignition.
So I usually try for the Fob closer to the bottom of the key pile so that batteries are always being topped up.

Recently I have noticed that upon unlocking the driver's door, I can catch the seat making a small adjustment to it's position.
I thought I read somewhere that this was an option based on the key used, thinking that if the wife had her seat setting and her her set of keys, that her personal preferences would be automatic.
I have to acknowledge that I have only noticed this behaviour in the past 2 weeks.

So have I missed something ? Was there a way of initiating automatic seat positioning that I have missed.

Thanks
Bumpy

If it wasn't something, would it be nothing ?

All settings such as mirror and seat positions are key based - so if you adjust the seat on one key, it will stay with that key.
