What's your internet speed?

Mostly Holland. Sometimes UK.
I'm averaging 105Mbps here in Holland with Ziggo.

Great for downloading hi def material but on my wireless N home network drops to around 45Mbps of course. But using an ipad 3 on said network webpages are DOG slow to load, especially this forum. Any ideas? Time for a new ipad?

Aaah, shaddup!!! I am in communication with Dido, the boss of Talktalk, about how crap their home internet speed is. I got the Fast Fibre with the promise of 18 to 35mbps (fine for my use), but over the last month I have never got above 17, and this afternoon three speed tests every few hours saw 564kbps tops! Dial-up speed!

At our old house in West London we were getting around 120Mbps DL consistently on VM. Now we've moved to Amersham its around 12!

105 Mbps - I can only dream ! Where I live in a village on the IOW we have fibre but can only manage maximum 12 Mbps :( having said that it gives me enough for catch up TV and web surfing :D

PING
11 ms
DOWNLOAD
28.44 Mbps
UPLOAD
3.03 Mbps

Using cable with a wifi laptop. So its like BHP at the wheels :D

Over the last 4 months ours has ranged from 14.63Mbps to tops of 23.46Mbps. Usually runs about 20Mdps.

Just now wireless to my iPad, looking at what you miserable lot get ill just sit back and watch you in my wake  :poke:

ME! Consistently get 220 down, 12 up at the shops. Expecting this to increase shortly as we on the 300mb+ trials now. WIll post the proof tomorrow. At home we get a lousy 10mb between 7 of us and about 20 devices. .

Isn't that just the speed from your iPad to your router? Not your Router to ISP speed. Can you run the test again from a wired connection and see if there's a difference (rule out the WiFi part of the link).

I'm on 100Mbs down, 20 up, but I've limited down/up to around 80% for QOS and it works great with 2 teenagers and a Netflix/Facebook addict in the house

I get the same on my Mac on a wired connection. I'm on VM 200mb connection and always get over 180 wired, wireless is up and down like a whores draws so even I was impressed with last nights results
Upload is always a solid 12mb regardless what device I'm on which is a bit poor imho but that's what they must cap it at ?

BT Superfast Broadband. Hardwired 90ish Wireless 60 Upload 20. I am only 30m from the main exchange and have my own clean line as I played my face with the speeds I was getting, it turned out the culvert from our group of 13 houses was loosing in moisture and damp was plaguing the equipment.

I'm supposed to get 36 - 76 Mb with BT infinity, in practice it's around 40. That's with connection from the router to my pc by BT power line, wireless drops it to about 20.

I'm told by BT that distance from the junction box is a big influence as its copper wire, the fibre stops at the junction box. That's about half a kilometre in my case.
