Whats with all these damn 16" wheels on cars fornsale?

I've owned several cars, but never any with 16" wheels. Is that normal for a Z4? It seems that all the cars I look atain pistonheads or autotrader seem to have this size wheel...with bloody run-flat tyres, does that mean expensive tyres as they're an unusual size?

Currently got some 19" on my Scirocco with some awesome tyres, so I can stomach their almost £250 price, but how much for some decent non-run flat 16"?
 
I guess you are looking at 2.0i models. They are an easy swap, do if that's the only problem it's easy to fix.
 
Prefacelift 2.5 SEs also had bottle tops as standard. Go with what srhutch advises ; easy swap if you factor the cost into your purchase.
