What's this wire/connector for?!

Just installing some cup holders today and when I removed the airvents I found an interesting looking connector on the passenger side that goes nowhere! Anybody know what it's for?

It's a 6 pin connector with a white and a blue wire going into positions 1 and 3 (or 4 and 6, depending on which way around it goes)

This is something I'm tying to source at the moment. I'm guessing this might be pre-wired into my 04 along with cruise etc?

Yeah pre wiring is there- all you need is the switch to put in and to cut out the hole marked in the side of the dah (you can see it when you open the door. You also need the light to fit into the centre tunnel (again the wiring is there). Not sure if any coding is required.

Actually just looked and the footwell lighting is already there! Shows how much I go out in the dark.
