what's this rear spoiler, never seen one before?

Came across this whilst priding myself on the lack of coupes andtheir strong prices on the AUC site. Is it a BMW extra or afermarket? I like it, makes the car stand out and look special without being hideous.

Yes that is correct about the spoiler.

That car used to belong to Nick (Peppernick) from Evotecknic and BMWCarmagazine who is a good chap but its been WELL hammered, so advise to any potential buyer is that I'd avoid it if I were you!

OMG if that was Nick's then stay well away! :P

It is indeed an Alpina rear spoiler, wanted one for my Z4MR, MStyle price is £450 inc vat, not painted, not fitted which I feel is bit OTT. If anyone knows of a better price do tell.

Quite like the spoiler. Nick used to post here when he first got it but he swapped it out a while ago. He had massive brembo brakes on it too.

He doesn't post much on evoT either. He sold the brembo's to a member on there.

Imagine if the car goes to a nice new home and the buyer reads this :(

every //Monster was meant to be thrashed, I'm sure it will be fine :driving:

I was going to say. It's done 26k! Not 126k! It'll be fine!

Knowing Nick, i'm sure it was driven hard at times, but it was always well warmed up before doing so. These cars can take a fair bit of abuse, as long as you're mechanically sympathetic in letting them get up to temperature first! I wouldn't have any problem in owning that car!

Very nice, blends in with the flow of the body lines well. Does anyone know if Alpina has done anything with a coupe? I would think something like this on a coupe would look awesome.

No, reserved for the roadster since it was the only body style that was available at the time of it's production (pre-facelift)

Haha, I was thinking (and still am) about buying this one to replace my 2.2. I work for a dealership tho, and it'll have had the full approved used check which will have cost about £750-1500 depending on what it needed.
