What's the skinny on 677 Hifi System Professional upgraded head units?

New to the Z4 (2006 3.0i) and the vin indicates 677 Hifi System Professional (I'm in the states). Does this mean I have the 10 speaker carver DSP package?

I don't have the navigation but previous owner installed the GROM so I am able to bluetooth which is nice. Looking at this head unit; https://www.amazon.com/Single-DIN-ATOTO-S8G1A84SD-Tethering-Bluetooth/dp/B08VJ66CNL

Only thinking of upgrading the head unit for apple play etc.

I've read mixed threads on if you can or can't upgrade your head unit due to the DSP and the amp. Can't say I understand all the lingo. So, can I upgrade JUST the head unit or no? Much appreciated.
 
In simple terms..No.. If you want to go to a shitload of trouble, expense and heartache, It can be done but its probably not worth the ballache as it is pretty complex surgery

Well that is unfortunate. It sounds great, I just wish I had a touchscreen with modern day controls.
