What's the best leather conditioner for care?

I recently tried Zymol leather cleaner on my M sport red leather seats. However, since then, the base of the passenger seat seems to have "stiffened" up slightly and the leather doesn't seem quite as soft as before. Is this because I used this cleaner without using a conditioner or some kind of care liquid afterward? To make matters worse, near to a seam on the drivers seat, the leather has cracked ever so slightly - this is only visable close up so not the end of the world, but I really want to condition them or protect them in some way.

What do you recommend?

The leather cleaner is literally that. Once you clean the leather you really need to use a leather conditioner to re-feed it.

Gliptone is well regarded as being one of the best, so worth a go as shabba mentioned :)

Have a read, not fully read the thread myself yet though.
I was going to go for Zaino Z9 and Z10, will read the thread above and decide.

I can only comment on the Zaino 10 conditioner. I used it when first bought the car and was pleased with the results.I will be cleaning the seats again soon so this time I have also purchased Zaino 9 cleaner.

LTT Leather Care See my post http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3139 my seats still look like this now.

So far, only used Meg's wipes. So far so good. When I get an entire day, she's getting megs from top to bottom (and the liquid leather care, too)

Now, I may sound like a heathen here and possibly get flamed, but..... I just used some Mr Sheen leather wipes just to give the seats a quick wipe over and they seem to have come up rather well indeed...... :o

Have a look at Autoexpress's website. They did a product review on leather cleaning products.

Ok, so I went to Halfords and they didn't have any of the top recommended ones recommended here or elsewhere (I'm starting to think Halfords carry crap).. so I was stuck with buying a TurtleWax Leather Cleaner and Conditioner.. tried this out which is two stage (1. rub it on with dry cloth and leave for 2-3 minutes, 2. rub off with another dry cloth).. results are leather which looks a little more cracked in places and "creaks" when I sit in it, agh :headbang:

What's the problem here? Is it (as I've read) that this likely has too many oils in it rather than being water based? Is this going to be damaging for the leather? On looking at parts of the seat under the light you could see where it had smeared on but not come off.. so I rubbed them down again with a damp cloth in an effort to remove this.. have no idea what to do next, I just want to make them soft again and protect them.. what can I do??

I'm surprised no one's suggested Connolly Hide Cream, available from any tack shop. Don't apply it too thickly, work it in well. Maybe it's just old f4rts like me who use it but for feeding your leather, it's the business.

Whatever you use it should leave the leather as standard so with the Z4 a nice matt finish.

Some cleaners will not moisten the leather which it needs i always wipe my seats over with a damp leather.

Apparently the conditioner is not a good product to use....my thread:- http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=114256

Buffalo leather products is probably what i'll go for :- http://www.buffaloleather.co.uk/leathercare.htm

Looking at "Buffalo Leather Cleaner & Protector Kit £16.50" as the Protector is the essential part IMO.
