++WHAT'S COMING AT 50K++

i'm goin to buy used z4
all i can afford right now is z4 that has around 40k-50k

i want to know what kind of service will i need to do at that 50K
any major service ?

or any problem cus i saw a lot of z4 sale at this mileage

Most cars come up for sale at 50k because that's when the warranty is up in the US and lots of people are paranoid about driving a car out of warranty. No real worries, though - the cars are good for a couple hundred thousand miles if you take care of them.

tunedbygoody, can you find out what, if any, types of repairs have already been done? That'd be a good place to start. Also, get an extended warranty if you can. Sorry, but I wouldn't own a Z without some sort of warranty. It's like being middle-aged without health insurance. Unless you have a good amount of cash you don't mind putting into it if/when needed. I have a 2003 that needed the entire steering replaced a few months ago, I believe the bill was around $1200.00 - !
