Whats been done so far ?

I'm back again with a small update

So things I have done since I have picked up my Z4

DISA Valve changed - much smoother now !
Air Filter
Mass Air Flow sensor cleaned - engine light came on , then disappeared 30 or so miles later phew !
Oil and filter changed
Coolant flush
Re- Blacked and conditioned the leather
Soft top water repellent renewal
Roof drains unblocked and cleaned out
Plugs changed


So what's up next ?

1) Back box delete quoted £200
2) New Tyres - still not sure what to get but no run flats


One thing I need to look at is a new entertainment system has anyone got any recommendations for a 2004 Z4 ?

I'm not sure I saw your previous post(s) so apologies if I missed anything or am going over old ground. :roll:

Some good progress being made, but if they haven't been done already I'd add relocation of roof motor, removal of Clutch Delay Valve, refresh gearbox oil and a replacement gear-knob for a ZHP, or similar, to the list.

Just a thought, but have you heard one with a back-box delete? I like a bit of volume, but when I heard a 3.0si with that done I knew I just couldn't live with that for a long trip! My car has Powerflow back boxes which are louder than stock but not OTT. A modified backbox or a non-OE one might be a more comfortable option. :lol:

Dont forget a diff oil change as well, while you are doing the gearbox oil and CDV, Mr Tidy
