What you did for your 30th?

I'm coming up to the ripe old age of 30 at the end of this year and beginning to ponder ideas for celebrating. Any ideas from you lot that I can steal from what any of you did? So far my ideas vary a lot, with the number of people involved varying just as much! At this point the only answer is to do them all...

A few years ago it seemed easy, me and a bunch of mates said we'd rent supercars for the day but now we're beginning to wonder about that - we've all got much better cars now then we did then so to get something worth renting is going to be considerable £££'s.
 
It's almost too long ago for me to remember - but it involved Amsterdam - a lot of beer and a surplus of young dutch girls....... :D

One interesting point that may help, I've had a lifelong mantra about Temptation ........ the only way to deal with temptation is to give in right away, it avoids all the pain ...... so in the case of a "30" celebration I'd recommend doing everything you can, rack up a giant credit card bill and put a smile on your face that lasts for ages.

I had a wee week in New York with missus. Stayed at the UN plaza hotel and ate, drank and shopped ourselves silly. Topped off by another Breitling watch as a pressie!
My missus had a great night with loads of friends at a restaraunt that we took over for the night and had good food and a great laugh till the early hours. :thumbsup:
 
I remember a surprise party, some guy dressed up in a bear suit, lots of Whiskey, and plenty of fragrant smoke in the air...not sure what else happened but it was fun.
 
There has been a debate which at the moment is going to result in two 30th's: one quiet one (nice holiday or something) with the wife, and a seperate rowdy affair with plenty of mates!
