What Tyres to replace the runflats ?

I know this is a well discussed subject.

I've got an 06 Z4c with MV2's & RE050 RFTyres
I bought myself a set of 108 alloys a few months ago & refurbed the outer rim only.

I've now sold the MV2s & runflats

So, What tyres to I put on them?

I was thinking of Falken 452's
until I read this blokes report........ 1st one on the list
http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Falken/FK452.htm

I had Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas on my 330d M Sport & they were awesome.

My independant garage can do Falkens for £450 fitted or £583 for the Vredesteins.
Whats my other good options? - Avon / Uniroyals etc....

any help much appreciated
Cheers
David

I've had 452's on my previous roadster and now have them fitted on the coupe and i can say i've never had any problems with them, the only down side is the lack of rim protection.
Pleny of people on here running 452's so some more may come on and give their verdict.
From me they get a

No problems from the FK452 here, a good tyre that delivers excellent value for money.

If you want better you'll need to start spending a lot more to get some Michelin PS3s or something like that I reckon.

On about my 3rd set of Falkens never had issues aother than already stated lack of rim protection.
I'd like to know where the poster in the review got his Vreds from, there's £30 a corner difference on Camskill for the sizes I need.

what about falken ze912

my local dealer tried to fob me off we one of these when he couldn't get a 452, tbh they are not as good as 452's even the Falken website says this IIRC.

I wouls happily put on another set of 452's though.

Find a mate with a Costco card when they have 20% off, as my set of PS3 Michilins bought at the end of June cost £469 fitted.

Thanks for all the comments guys

I'll probably end up going with the 452's
and i'll look into the costco discount.

i am surprised at that, know a few people with the ze912 and rave about them just put some my miss's freelander i know its not the same kind of vehicle and they have transformed the ride on it they have slighty stiffer side walls and are definitely very quiet i might give them a go when i get my zed
