B BillR Member Manitoba, Canada Sep 23, 2009 #2 The 2003 Z4 6MT uses ATF. I put Red Line ATF D4 in mine and noticed easier 1-2 upshifting. The information on your model year must be available somewhere. You could even send an email to Red Line to which of their products to use. Bill
