I came across "ricer forums" the other day... what the hell is a ricer, and where did the term come from? :?

Japanese cars that have been modified (usually extensively). Kinda like what you call a "chav mobile". :D

Asian cars like Mitsubishi and the fact that they come from a part of the world that grows rice.

ah... I see now... a car that's had s**t parts put on it that actualy make no difference... massive spoilers on a honda prelude etc :D

Don't forget the coffee can at the rear. As a friend once explained to me, "they are trying to see which car has the larger arse hole".

I think he may have been refering to the person in it :idunno:

:D

Typo'd really bad, so correction made.

Hey WLH, your poster forgot the added 50+HP from all the stickers that are applied advertising stuff that they can't afford to put into their cars.
:P

Nope, I have never owned a Japanese made car. The closest I have come to the "ricer" syndrome is putting an Orciari body kit on my MINI Cooper S. I think with a German car, it may be called "Krauter"

Cheers!
