What stereo system do i have?

The site FAQ says that if you have DSP in the menu, then you have Logic 7 with 10 speakers. Other options are 10 speakers with no DSP, or 6 speakers (basic setup)

My car appears to have 8 speakers (2 behind each seat, 1 midrange in each door, and 1 tweeter in each door by the wing mirror - the ones in the footwell are empty grilles i think)

My nav menu has DSP, which i can use to adjust the EQ settings etc.

According to the dealer it has the "Professional" system

Is the FAQ wrong?

I would have thought if it had Logic 7 the dealer would have advertised it? Are you sure having DSP means having L7?

You've been robbed if you dont have speakers in the footwells.

Closer examination reveals that there are actual speakers behind the grilles in the footwell.

Does that mean i have Logic 7 (as i have DSP in the menu)?

If u have dsp in the menu,then it will be whats known as Carver/Logic7

What year is your Z4M? 2006/2007 were Carver, not Logic 7. iirc, Logic 7 came after and might not have even made it into the Z4s prior to the "new" model.

Mine is 2007, so i guess it's Carver then.

It's more than adequate for my needs, just nice to find you have something extra you didn't expect!
