What is this in front of multi cd?

What is the big silver box blocking access to the rear of my multi cd player in the boot? I want to install my DICE but cannot get to the 6pin and 3pin cables plugged into the cd player. Could it be a TV tuner?

Looks like a TV tuner based on the diagram in Realoem of the TV retrofit. Box that general shape with 2 identical connectors on one end and also comes with trunk trim
