What is the electronic box under the passenger seat?

As the title suggests, following my previous post about the interior getting a covering of rain, I have stripped it out and found what I think to be the backup a alarm battery and a metal box under the passengers seat. Anybody know what it does?
 
Yup. Used mine a couple of times when SWMBO complained about having the roof down in the cold :evil:

... Joking aside, I'm afraid I have no idea, but a few on here have played with seats so someone should have an answer :thumbsup:
 
Will do tomorrow Navid, can't begin to describe how fed up I am right now. Went to my mum and dads yesterday morning. Took the seats out and pulled back the drenched carpets in his garage. Went to watch Bolton lose to Wigan (because my Dad promised he would check my vcar every hour for me - he didn't) so the heater broke. No bother, bought another 2 from tesco, one in each footwell, borrowed my mums car so I will have to mess about for an hour before I go to work tomorrow.

I then got a phone call saying both the heaters were broke prompting another 10 mile drive to tell them the extension lead had packed up, not the heaters.

If I was a betting man I would put FA on this week!
