I haven't been in it. All I did was wash the outside yesterday and then it was sat all day. I'll try take a look at the catch.
 
Bonnet switches are known to fail and give off false alarms. New switch (2 years ago) £11. Takes 2 minutes to fit.

Try locking the car with the key in the door until the issue is sorted, as this doesn't arm the alarm.

My alarm used to go off for no reason numerous times a day and night. Cleaned the switch with WD40, which helped for a while. No false alarms since replacement.

You could also try coding out the tilt and interior sensors with Carly.
 
If you go the switch route and in case you're unaware, bonnet up and it's in the middle up at the windscreen end.

Double tap the lock button does the same - i.e. for transport on ship or rail etc
its in the book.
