what is best for bulb upgrades

Ok so i think im right in saying the headlight only has two bulbs in it a side light and a main beam light if i am wrong please correct me.

i am going to get the philips diamond vison bulbs for my main beam however what shoudl i get for my sidelights? The same as in pphilips diamond vision or a 501 led bulb?

Also are there any other bulb upgrades i the front needed for that 'white' xenon look. I have halogens at present.

Sidelight, dipped beam and main beam. 3 bulbs.

501 wedge are sides. I got some white led ones off ebay for a few quid, give a nice white look.

So can i use the philips for main / dipped and the led for side light or philips for all 3?

I am co fused wheb do these lights come on i take it main beam is high beam i.e flash cars etc dipped is the lights on at night and sidelight when?

On your headlight switch in the car, the first turn to the right is sidelights, second is dipped beam. Main is high.

You could use philips for both dipped and main yes.
