Does anyone know what these connectors are for, both photographed through cavity with passenger side air vent removed?
Picture 1 (sorry about the terrible picture) - the white square in the middle of the picture is a four pin connector with I think two wires going into it. The two wrapped wires exiting left are behind the connector, not connected to it.
Picture 2 is deeper into the cavity, shows a block connector with at least 8 wires just hanging down. It’s just above the footwell speaker which you can see on the left.
For reference the car has 10 speaker non-DSP hifi which appears to be working correctly, so does everything else. I am particularly intrigued by the block connector which looks as though it ought to be plugged into something.
